Starting in the fifth grade, Catherine Oddo found herself intrigued with design and her innate gift to shape the visual world to observable artistry. From collecting desk sets to typing a color coordinated wardrobe calendar, she had discovered an ability to beautifully decorate her world. What started as a hobby would grow into a rich business built on a foundation of retail knowledge, real-world experience, and continued education in design.

When Catherine's friends would present her with gifts for her feats in designing their homes, she knew a purposeful career was being born. Interest in the work grew and Catherine started a job in home design and pursued continued education classes. She started her own business and worked retail jobs to absorb knowledge from the industry.

Today Catherine Oddo is an allied member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), as well as the IFDA (International Furnishings and Design Association), a member of Michigan Design Center and attends continuing education seminars to stay competitive. She is also a member of the Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan, an affiliate member of the Woman's Council of Realtors of Greater Rochester, and has been a member of several other organizations to stay on top of industry trends.
